The Natural textile Company, is a fabric retail store founded in Vancouver in 1995, specializing in home furnishing fabrics. The fabrics come in all weights and weaves, such as cotton, linen, silk, hemp, velvets, chenille and muslin sheers. Most of our fabrics are multi-purpose, and can be used for draperies, upholstery, slip covers, bench seats and bedding. Why natural fabrics? We feel environmental concerns are an important issue. Fabrics woven from natural fibres enhance home furnishings in a way that synthetic blended fabrics cannot. When it comes to fabric selection, we feel it is important to promote quality, design appeal, colour and texture. This criteria will be obvious to you as you browse our site. Our fabrics are sold off the bolt from our stock room. Fabrics can be ordered from our fabric suppliers if not in stock. We also sell on line, but request customers order a fabric sample before placing an order to confirm the fabric and colour is exactly right for you. Warranty Information. We guarantee all of our fabrics are fist quality goods. Customers should understand fabrics woven from natural fibres can and do have irregularities, particularly handwoven or hand loomed fabrics. Fabrics that have been laundered at the mill, or fabrics with a special surface finish, may also exhibit some weave or colour irregularities (as mentioned above) this is normal and should not be regarded as flaws. There could be dyelot variations between fabrics taken from different bolts of the same fabric. We do not guarantee our fabrics in terms of wear, colour fastness, colour fading, or shrinkage. We do not make any warranty, express or implied, with respect to fitness for a particular purpose or merchantability of its fabrics. We have categorized each fabric in terms of its use suitability - these are suggested use categories, and should be consistent with standards that customers might reasonably expect from non-synthetic home furnishing fabrics.
